The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps (Sea Cadets) is the U.S. Navy’s youth development program. Sea Cadets gives middle and high school students a competitive edge by providing world-class leadership development, training opportunities, and mentorship. We uniquely prepare today's youth with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become productive, responsible citizens who appreciate America’s maritime services. Our cadets develop life skills and self-confidence while learning discipline, accountability, and teamwork. With support from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Merchant Marine, our diverse program includes seamanship, aviation, robotics, medical, culinary, special forces, submarines, photojournalism, trades, and security.
We are actively recruiting in the Anchorage, MatSu Valley, and South Central Alaska for students looking to grow lifelong leadership skills. We are looking for cadets ages 10 to 17 years old as well as volunteers. Military service is appreciated, active duty or veterans, but civilians are welcomed to volunteer.
Scuba dive in Puerto Rico, dissect sharks, visit submarines, visit warships, get basic military knowledge, learn more about yourself, and build leadership skills.
